For salsa On1 dancers wishing to learn to dance salsa On2, we have a comprehensive Introduction to Salsa On2 course. This is recommended to get the most from our classes, which are all taught On2.

BEGINNERS COURSE

Salsa is a fun, social activity and great exercise. You do not need any previous dance experience as our complete beginners course will give you the best foundations in dancing salsa.
As salsa is a social dance it is customary to rotate partners in all classes, so whether you come on your own, with a partner or with friends, everyone gets to dance.
The 6 week course fee includes a 1 hour class per week.
In our beginners course you will be taken through the basic fundamentals of dancing salsa including the basic salsa rhythm, the basic steps and footwork, and foundation partnerwork. Most importantly you will learn how to lead/follow so you can get going on the dancefloor.
We encourage students on the Beginners courses to join our social dance sessions (although this is entirely optional). The social dancing sessions give you opportunity to practice what you've learnt, which really helps to accelerate your learning. If you prefer you can just watch and socialise. Teachers are available during practice sessions to help and answer questions.
Before your course starts, you are welcome to come and visit. You will get a good feel for the style we dance by watching the classes and social dancing.

BEGINNERS TASTER CLASSES
Our taster classes are the perfect opportunity to give you the chance to give salsa a try without any commitment. We have weekend taster classes during the afternoon & evening. The are followed by an evening party or afternoon social for dancers of all levels, so you will get to experience our vibrant salsa scene in action.
This class is also suitable for people who may have attended our beginners classes/courses previously and would like to revise the basic rhythm and steps.
You don't need to come with a partner as we will rotate partners in class.
