We have three different membership packages designed to give regular Alchemy attendees discounts on their classes. With the full Gold membership you can get your dancing at Alchemy for as little as £6 per evening. The Bronze package gives you 1 free class per month.

All memberships are payable by monthly Direct Debit via Go Cardless which is a reputable company facilitating direct debits for thousands of companies and organisations, and protects you with the Direct Debit Guarantee.  Once you have registered and set up your direct debit, all you need to do is turn up and dance! There is no contract for membership and you can cancel at any time.

Memberships start from the 1st of each month.

£50 per month

All classes Tuesday & Thursday . This is the full Alchemy Dance Academy package, 2 evenings of classes and social dancing.

YOU SAVE anywhere between £28-£67 per month depending how many classes you attend per evening.


£40 per month

2 classes in the same evening and social dancing. 1 x per week either Tuesday or Thursday.

YOU SAVE up to £18 per month.


£30 per month

1 class per week with social dancing the same evening, either Tuesday or Thursday. 

YOU SAVE up to £10 per month.

HOW MEMBERSHIP WORKS + Terms & Conditions​ of Alchemy Membership

  1. Payment is by Direct Debit only via GoCardless.

  2. Your payments are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

  3. Payments are taken on the 1st of the month and each payment will cover your membership for that whole month.

  4. When you register for, your membership will commence on 1st of the following month, providing your Direct Debit mandate has been processed.

  5. There is no minimum contract term. You can cancel at any time. 

  6. 2 weeks notice of cancellation is required in writing before the end of the month (by email). If you cancel after this point, your membership will be cancelled from the end of the following month.

  7. The membership scheme is to benefit people who regularly support Alchemy classes. If you cancel your membership, there will be a 6 month period before you can rejoin the scheme. During this period, the usual drop-in class fees will apply when you attend class.

  8. Membership fees take into consideration closure dates throughout the year. This includes, but is not restricted to, our 4 week closure over the Christmas period & the first Thursday in May when Oakridge Hall is used as a polling station annually. There are therefore no refunds or reduced monthly payments for closures.

  9. There are no refunds if you miss classes due to work/holiday/other commitments.

  10. You cannot pause your membership for reasons of work/holiday/other commitments.

  11. Membership can be paused for reasons of illness or injury on submission of a doctor's certificate. This is applicable from the next full month i.e. from your notification we will pause your membership from the start of the following month.

  12. If you wish to attend more classes than your membership package entitlement, the regular drop-in class fees apply.

  13. You can change your membership package at anytime, just let us know by email 2 weeks before the start of the month so we can change your plan before the next direct debit payment.

  14. You will still be required to check-in at the front desk. On particularly busy nights, we will endeavour to fast-track members.

  15. Membership is non-transferable. 

  16. We/Alchemy Dance Company reserve the right to refuse or cancel membership.

  17. We/Alchemy Dance Company reserve the right to change the terms & conditions of Alchemy Membership. Please check our Terms & Conditions page on our website regularly for changes.
