Those who have some prior salsa experience can expect the highest standard of teaching to take your dancing to the next level. All our salsa classes are taught On2, so we have an Introduction to On2 every week until further notice. This is for On1 dancers wishing to join Alchemy.

Directors Marchant & Davina Birch are one of the UK salsa scene's finest teaching and performing couples. They are internationally recognised and represent the UK globally. Awards include Best UK Dance Act and Lifetime Achievement Awards for contribution to salsa teaching. Both formally trained dancers, Marchant and Davina have a lifetime of experience in dance, and decades of teaching experience between them. They have trained with many of the pioneers of New York salsa and Afro dance, and are committed to their on-going dance development.

All teachers at Alchemy are trained by Marchant & Davina, so you are in the very best of salsa hands. Most classes have two teachers, so leaders and followers alike will be given the information and guidance required to be the best dancer you can be! While paying close attention to good technique to help you build skills to get out on the dance floor, there is always a relaxed and fun atmosphere at Alchemy.
